Hydroseeding
GrassRoots is one of the few service providers in our area that has the equipment and expertise to hydroseed. Hydroseeding is a planting process that utilizes a slurry of seed, mulch, and often other organic ingredients like fertilizer, tactifying agents, and green dye, which is sprayed over prepared ground in a uniform layer. The process is an alternative to traditional broadcasting or sowing dry seed.
Hydroseeding is a technique that is often unheard of by most clients, but it is an incredibly efficient and reliable method for quickly creating lawns over large areas as well as addressing drainage and runoff issues that are common in many Pacific NW landscapes, including Eugene and Springfield. The applications and benefits of hydroseeding are extensive and are just another tool in our arsenal to be able to provide our clients with the best possible solutions to their needs and goals.
